How far in advance can I schedule an appointment?

Currently, I offer 3-4 weeks of advance scheduling. For example, today you may be able to schedule a session for this week, next week or the following week.

Is online scheduling available around the clock, 24 hours a day 7 days a week?

Online scheduling is not available 24/7 due to the intentionality of scheduling behind the scenes for Salon Admin. Salon Admin is available to handle scheduling Monday thru Friday of each week.

Current hours: Monday thru Thursday 9:00 am until 8 pm EST. Friday 9:00 am until 5:00 pm EST.

Do I schedule an appointment right after filling in a Digital Consultation Form?

After submitting your form Salon Admin will further assist you with scheduling via email. Salon admin is pretty good at following up with New Guests within a few short hours (during salon operating hours).

All inquiries and form submissions are read and responded to via email during the salon’s operating hours. Forms submitted after salon operating hours will be read and responded to the following business day.

The salon’s operating hours are listed at the footer of our website (below) and are updated on the Nourish Google listing regularly. If the salon is closed for vacation or a holiday break you can expect a follow up when the salon reopens.

What should I do If I haven’t received a follow up to my submission?

If you have not received a follow up the same day as your submission (Tuesday thru Thursday) please allow at least 1 full salon operating day to pass before reaching out, chances are salon admin hasn’t had a chance to respond to your submission.

Submissions sent on a Friday may not be read or responded to until the following Monday.


Where can I find detailed service descriptions and prices?

Service starting rates and detailed descriptions can be found here.

Gloss Genius, the salon’s online booking host, is also home to detailed service descriptions. Starting prices and predicted time frames are listed on each service item on Gloss Genius as well.

A link to Gloss Genius will be provided via email when scheduling info is given. Each service item on the Gloss Genius scheduling menu has an encircled “i” listed at the top right hand corner leading to a detailed description of the service.

What is a Premium Session?

Premium sessions are appointments scheduled outside of Nourish’s regular operating hours. Nourish is regularly opened Tuesday thru Friday of each week. (See footer of site for hours.)

Premium sessions come with an increase in cost per service. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a Premium Session.

What should I do if I’m unsure of my hair type and texture?

If you’re uncertain of your hair type and texture you can send me a few photos of your hair via email and I’ll help you from there.

I want color but I don’t see the option to schedule my own color online?

Color/highlighting services are reserved for second visits only!

Our primary focus during your first session is to get a feel for the ‘over all health’ of your hair prior to chemically treating it.

Color consultations are considered an add-on service and must be paired with a haircut service.

After consulting color and highlighting services are scheduled by Salon Admin.

I got a notification after requesting an appointment online telling me to call in to the salon to schedule my appointment what should I do next?

All scheduling is done digitally by my guests— unless I recommend a different method in person.

***Color, highlighting, smoothing treatments and scalp treatments require a consultation to be scheduled first.

If you receive a notification from Gloss Genius prompting you to call the salon to schedule after requesting an appointment this would be for one of two reasons.


  1. The salon is closed and/or on-line booking is down. If this is the case you’ll have to wait until online scheduling resumes to request an appointment. Online scheduling updates are always posted on the banner in the header of my website.

    *** Salon hours are listed at the footer of each website page. Our Google listing is updated regularly with salon openings and closings.


  2. The appointment day and time you requested may not be a good fit for my schedule OR there may be an issue with the service request in relation to your hair type and texture.

    If this is the case, check your email for an updated response directly from Nourish (not Gloss Genius). If you do not receive an email with an inquiry or response to the denial give me a call at the salon during normal business hours.

*** When scheduling be sure to keep an eye on your email inbox just incase further information is needed to get you scheduled in properly on the back end. Appointment requests are normally responded to within the hour. Failure to respond promptly to an email from Salon Admin may result in a denied appointment request.

***Please note online scheduling is down Saturday and Sunday of each week.

Online communications are down when the salon is closed.

Occasionally, you may get an email during the week (after salon operating hours) regarding appointment requests.
