Curl Talk…

I know how hard is it to find a stylist that understands how to work with your curly hair… it may be even harder to trust someone after you’ve had a few bad in-salon experiences.

Let’s avoid that all together! This digital intake form will help me determine if I am the right stylist to fulfill your needs prior to booking and it’ll help salon admin prepare you for your first session.

I look forward to connecting you!

Digital Intake Submission Details

Step 1: Fill in form and upload photos.

Step 2: Keep an eye on your email inbox!

After submitting your form Salon Admin will follow up via email to guide you with scheduling your first session.

  • All inquires and form submissions are responded to during salon admin hours Monday thru Thursday of each week.

  • Forms should only be submitted if your goal is to schedule a session in April or May.

  • Photo submission instructions are listed on the form.

If you are planning to schedule a Curly Cut be sure to read through the Curly Cut Prep info here.

Photo Requirements

  • When prepping for your photos, keep in mind salon admin utilizes photos to build out your first session.

Characteristics, such as density, length, consistent curl pattern, broken curl pattern and other signs of damage are being assessed.

    • Current front, back, and side photos of your curly hair are needed to assess the state of your curls.

    • Be sure your photos display your hair down and out in its natural state (dried, not wet).

    • Capture photos in good lighting.

    • A photo of each side is required.

  • It's best to send photos of your curly hair after it has been washed, set/styled and dried.

Photos of day 1 or day 2 curls are best. Photos of day 3 hair aren’t as helpful.

  • In order to schedule out the appropriate amount of time for your session Salon Admin will need to know the “general” direction you are planning to head in when it comes to your desired length and/or shape.

Please, send one (1) hair cut/shape photo displaying the look you are going for.

  • If you’re planning to schedule a Regular Hair Cut & Blow Out or Curly Girl Blow Out you don’t have to send photos of your hair in it’s curly state.

Current photos of your hair worn straight will suffice.

Scheduling Young Wavies, Curlies & Coilies…

Due to the careful nature of scheduling a separate form has been created to ensure your child’s time in the salon is a memorable one. Link to form.
